Why Join our Writing Community?

It's a place to show up as you are, explore new ideas, spark inspiration through prompts, and generate fresh material in the company of others who understand the creative process.
Whether you’re stuck, seeking structure, or simply craving connection, a writing circle offers a rhythm, a refuge, and a reminder: your words matter, and you’re not alone in finding them.

You Belong Here.
I’m Nicole, Host of This Community.
I'm a poet and writer who believes in the quiet power of language to heal, reveal, and connect. My work often lives in the in-between spaces—grief, memory, nature, childhood and belonging. I write to make sense of the world, and have created a space for you to do the same.
Alongside my own creative practice, I am the founder and host of The Portal Writing Community and Solace Writing Circle – both rooted in care, curiosity, and creative freedom. Through generative circles and shared space, I guide writers of all backgrounds back to their own voice—without pressure or expectation. It’s not about writing the “right” thing. It’s about showing up, exploring what's true, and making space for what wants to unfold.
Come Belong.
